A beautiful map depicting part of China. It covers part of the Kiangsu and Chekiang Provinces next to the Yellow Sea.
The map is notable for a large decorative title cartouche. It also has a decorative scale cartouche as well as some information about the area in the lower right corner.
Collection of 14 Provinces of China
The map is one of a set of six maps by the Italian mapmaker Vincenzo Coronelli, representing 13 Provinces of China.
The maps are modeled upon the earlier maps by Joan Blaeu and Jesuit Martino Martini.
